Individual hairs are treated by inserting a tiny surgical probe into the hair follicle, and then a tiny impulse of energy is transmitted down to cauterise the hair root. This allows each hair to be removed without the discomfort of being pulled out. This procedure is repeated over each area until it is cleared of unwanted hair.
